2009 Blue and Gold Banquet Our Webelos II bridged over to become Boy Scouts while we added
3 new Bobcats to the pack. Another highlight of the Blue and Gold banquet was our cake
decorating competition. Some very talented bakers and

Pack 9 celebrated the end of a successful 2008 Popcorn Sale at the
December pack meeting. Sales reward prizes were awarded
and cubs got to
take a shot
with a water bomb at
Cubmaster

Money raised by the sale is
used to fund pack
activities
and
awards.
Webelos Ring The Bells for the Salvation
Army
Members of Webelos Den 5 helped out the Salvation Army by ringing the bells and singing Christmas carols in 10 degree weather at the New Hartford Price Chopper.

Cove at
New
Bedford,
Massachusetts
in
May, 2008.
They
got to
tour a battleship,
a destroyer,
a
submarine,
and a
Russian
ship. The
boys
and
their adult
companions
slept and ate
on
the USS
Massachusetts. We saw a
film
on the
history of the USS
Massachusetts
and even
got
to
hear from one of
the crew
members
from World War II.
