Pinewood Derby -
Pack 9 held its Pinewood Derby on March 16, 2008.
Sean was the winner,
defeating the next fastest car by
over a half second in average times for 8
runs. The next 7
cars were all within a half second of each other. Michael
finished second and Rocco was third.
Pack 9
was invited to
participate in neighboring SETA District
Pinewood Derby. Sean, Michael and TJ
raced and finished
first, second and fourth, respectively. They also captured
the trophy for the fastest pack. The trophy must go back
for next year's derby,
so Pack 9 is invited to defend
their title next year.
